Art in the Hotel
Within the Boscolo Venice, everything speaks of art and beauty. The collection of artwork of the mansion has been enhanced over time and careful restoration work has increased the historic importance of the building. Period frescoes, sculptures and important paintings are an evocative backdrop to the daily life in the hotel. For Boscolo, art is a vocation that is confirmed by the "For Art in Venice" project, renewed for this year: a cultural voyage, able to attract enthusiasts and art lovers, for the promotion of talented contemporary artists, and has already seen shows at the Boscolo Venice by Anna Maria Di Terlizzi, Rosario Bruno and Angelo Bertoglio.
But the art continues just a few steps from the Hotel: the Church of the Madonna of the Garden hosts ten large canvases of Tintoretto, as well as the mortal remains of the Venetian artist. He was commissioned to decorate the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, important destination for lovers of his work (special admission price reserved for clients of the Boscolo Venice).
