Hotel Art

The Boscolo Venezia is a historic residence: inside, art and beauty dominate, owing to a collection of works which has been enriched over time, and to important restoration and preservation work which has improved the condition of the building. The splendid period frescoes, the sculptures and the large paintings give day-to-day life in the hotel a suggestive backdrop.

Boscolo has thus reconfirmed its vocation for art and renewed its commitment, by opening up to an original experiment for a public looking for exclusive and interesting experiences: namely, the ‘For Art in Venice’ project.

This is a cultural journey which promotes the works of contemporary artists of interest and which has already seen the prestigious works of Anna Maria Di Terlizzi, Rosario Bruno and Angelo Bertoglio exhibited in the Boscolo Venezia. Art continues just a few short steps away from the hotel: the Church of the Madonna dell’Orto houses 10 large paintings by Jacopo Robusti, known as Tintoretto, as well as the mortal remains of the Venetian artist. He was entrusted with decorating the Great School of San Rocco, a key destination for lovers of pictorial art (with a reduced entry price for guests of the Boscolo Venezia).
